Role: Mental Health Co-ordinator
Salary and hours: Between £20, 826 and £22, 464 per annum for 30 hours per week
Closing date: Wednesday 1st April. CVs will not be accepted.
This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that people with experience of mental health difficulties or mental illness and unpaid/family carers are central (and equal) partners in the design, monitoring and procurement of existing and new services and provision. This role has a particular focus on coordinating and embedding the involvement of people with experience of mental ill-health for Adult Social Care. The post holder will achieve this by working with the Independent Mental Health Network to help expand, develop and coordinate the work of the network, it’s representatives and members. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with the Independent Mental Health Network Coordinator, the Chair, Co-chair and a team of representatives and members.
You will be based at the office in Burpham, though a day or two per week could be worked from home. The role will involve travel across Surrey and North East Hampshire and getting out and about to connect with groups who are under-served and/or less often heard is a key part of the role.
There will be some flexibility with how your working hours are structured, with a commitment of working up to one evening a week and an occasional weekend day.
