Better Health Partnerships Social Prescribing Guildford and Waverley Workshop
October 23 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Will you help us develop a new service to improve wellbeing in Guildford and Waverley?
We’re working together, using Social Prescribing* to help people live happier, healthier lives and tackle social isolation. But we need your help.
Guildford and Waverley is part of the national Building Health Partnerships programme which is assisting us with exciting developments in Social Prescribing across the area. A Steering Group** has been established to plan, oversee and co-ordinate this work. Before going further the Group would like to meet and discuss options with local people who use community services, provide or refer to them.
We are therefore holding a Workshop on 23rd October 2019. At the Workshop we will share some information about the different health needs in localities across the area and describe some of the Social Prescribing arrangements and provision currently in place or planned. We will then work with participants to help provide a steer for the next stages of development.
If you have experience of Social Prescribing e.g. as a service user, provider or referrer, and would like to participate please book a place via Eventbrite – details below. We are limited for numbers but will keep a reserve list.
