Casework Coordinator – Mediation Surrey

Role: Casework Coordinator

Location: Surrey- home based

Salary: £13.55 per hour

Contract type: Permanent, part time – 25 per week on a flexible working pattern with occasional requirement to work in the evening.

The role
Working as part of a team of Coordinators, this role ensures that mediation and coaching cases are recorded, actioned and reported on in a prompt and efficient way. This includes:

• Take primary responsibility for a specific service within the range that we offer and/or managing processes such as: recruitment and induction; Mediator/Coach social, development and engagement; or Case Management System (CMS) reporting.
• Maintain accurate information about cases on a single cloud-based CMS.
• Ensure that referrals are appropriate and that parties are clear about the service they are being offered
• Ensure cases are allocated to Mediators/Coaches and that Mediators/Coaches are supported through each to case completion.

Experience
Core requirements for the role that the applicant can demonstrate at interview:

• Building relationships in person and by phone, particularly talking to clients over the phone and being the contact point for a group of dispersed Mediators/Coaches

• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel

• Working as part of a team

• Any knowledge or experience of mediation or coaching is highly desirable but not essential

Skills
The applicant will possess the following:

• Good written and spoken communication

• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to respond to changing priorities

• Self-motivated and able to work alone the majority of the time

• Experience with case management or other management information systems highly desirable but not essential.
